Wednesday Day Centre We run a day centre every Wednesday from 10am - 2pm. The day involves English lessons and a sewing/dressmaking class with a break in between where students can enjoy refreshments such as tea and sandwiches or salads. Special diets such as halal and vegetarian are also catered for. In English class, students learn through visual prompts, language exercises and group study. A range of methods and useful tips are also given to students to better remember new vocabulary and grammar.  
  In sewing/ dressmaking class, students can unleash their creativity and create their own unique piece of clothing or bag. Sewing machines and all other materials are provided and help is at hand whenever you need it. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill as well as have fun! 
Download our day centre leaflet for more information. Thursday Day CentreA Thursday day centre runs 10am- 1.30pm . The day will involve English classes and Yoga with lunch. NEW! Tuesday Make, Bake and Decorate (baking class)Recipes may include sponge cake, cupcakes, fruit tartlets. There will also be an opportunity to share your recipes. You will need to bring: - An apron
- 2 tea towels
- A container to take the cake home
- £3 towards the cost of ingredients each week
The classes begin on April 27th at 10am-12 or 12.30-2.30pm and will end on July 6th A crèche can be provided if required, so children are welcome!
