On 18th June, we held our Rainbow Club Sports Day in partnership with Dulwich College Junior School. It was a day filled with fun, smiles, and fortunately only a smattering of rain!
In May, Dulwich College brought over a group of Year 6s who along with our Rainbow Club Year 6s, helped to plan the sporting activities for the younger children. They worked together in small groups to come up with different activities, and then voted to decide the most popular ones that would be run on the day. These included: Dodgeball, Vortex throwing, Penalty shootout, Obstacle course, Sprinting, Hopscotch, and Tug-of-war. During the Sports Day, each activity station was run by a pair of Year 6s from Dulwich College and Rainbow Club.
I’d like to say a massive thank you to Dulwich College, our Rainbow Club staff and volunteers, and Daniel, our Rainbow Club Sport Teacher, for helping put together such a fantastic day of sports, thoroughly enjoyed by all involved!
